I use a silicone dust 4k flex plugged into the router, also DVB Viewer witch see's the tuner and sat signals, still having some trouble with viewer, but overall it works well. It's winter and will have time to work the wrinkles out of Viewer, but have no problem getting most signals. Of course...

    Newbie needs guidance!

I lived in a little more should we say, upscale town in Florida. But all I had to do was go 20 miles inland to Okeechobee or Hendry county and you aint lying. Loved it so much, I moved to the sticks of Upstate SC!

Let me rephrase that, 200 TV channels could be 97W, my guess is you hit 103W with all the radio channels, can you give some examples of the channels scanned?

Dear god what have all these forums become? You won't see me on many just for this reason. Society is in a big collapse, no one can take constructive criticism anymore with out getting offended. I think all the help was positive, but hey that's just me.

I am lucky in my area. I get SC PBS, NC PBS and Georgia PBS over the air. Always something good to watch.

    Advanced USALS dish pointing

I think what A33 is trying to say is it is the curvature of the earth that is your problem, not the motor. You would be so low on the horizon that the earth noise would drown out any signals.

    Some old satellite brochures

Love my 10 foot Perforated Unimesh, as good as if not better than the 12 foot mesh. But in all honesty the 12 has some pretty bad hail damage

Integrating a SG2100 with the wrong neck

Yep, you are a engineer, Me I would have gone to Home depot, buy a fence post and a couple bags of quickcrete, buy some schedule 80 coupler to down size to something close to 42mm and been done. Nice permanent mount and no worries about a pallet not being level.

Rick's has turned into a joke, 500 hundred posts from sandwich as to what is currently on 99Ku. All of the good guy's have left and it looks like the armature hour. Just my opinion, but not like it used to be with technical stuff. I will call this home all day long.

Hehe, my old neighbor was mentioned. Robert Coleman Jr, Travelers Rest SC. Sill can't miss his house on Hwy25, all the c-band dishes give it away. He also started one of the first cable companies, serving T.R and Marietta SC.
