He said the installer mounted it on one of the exhaust pipes on his roof, heh. No weight or dimensions yet.

You can dim those LEDs or even shut them off completely if you want. Instructions on how to do it should be in the manual (they escape me at the moment).

Slight correction, it's the HR250-700. It does say 700 on the top, but near the bottom it does have that HR250-250 typo in it.

Just a quick correction, the HR20-700 is not a Tivo box. The 8mm motion on the MPEG4 channels is quite annoying and many others have noticed this. I am sure the D* developers are aware of the issue. It'd be interesting if this is only a H20 problem, and if so hopefully fixable via software...

How easy to use will this unit be? I plan on getting one when it is released, but I am a DVR newbie. Is there a learning curve for most of the basic DVR functionality? I'm mostly concerned for my other less technologically inclined family members. :rolleyes:
