i'm having a slightly different recurring error. if i jump in on something that is still recording - at a random time it will just jump to "live tv"... like an instant fast forward - but this happens mid-play. seems to be happening almost everytime I watch an in progress recorded show.

Thanks for the info. Is that Dish 500 / 1000 a free upgrade or swap from the extra dish I have or will it replace both? Not digging the idea of 3 dishes on the roof (my house sits low from the road and the dishes are basically at eye level when driving past). You guys rock!

Constant Check Switch Just swapped out my 811 for a 622. Did it myself... which, admittedly may be my problem. I've greeted by a black screen and then taken to do a Check Switch Test probably 10 times in 2 days. Seems to happen when I am scrolling thru channels or anytime I try and use the DVR...
