Well they are the exact same thing and the problem most people had with streaming sports is they were far behind sat/cable in getting the broadcast to the TV but I have noticed this year MLB-TV is about 5 seconds ahead of the Extra Innings satellite feed.

Since I had not seen any news articles about this I contacted Cord Cutters yesterday to see if they knew anything about it. They replied back they would contact DIRECTV and try to get some details. These are the details I guess.

Even the reruns are better on ad-free streaming like The Office, Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Seinfeld etc...no ads at all.
