Other than not being able to transfer to external devices or folders, they behave the same as normal recordings and don't delete until you say so or you run out of space.

It looks like two channels have been removed from DISH’s BonusView: 094-05 Real Stories 096-13 Real Life I don’t know when they were removed, though.
