It sounds like just the coax enters the room from a TV2 output on a DUO receiver. Just make sure the USB tuner is a hybrid capable of tuning ATSC and NTSC signals. The TV2 signal is NTSC/Analog.

Dish will provide plenty of reasons for more unhappy customers no matter if they're Turbo subscribers or not, that's almost guaranteed given their track record.:up:)

Instead of calling or using chat I tried adding the platinum programming using my account at the Dish website. I already have HD programming, so I had to untick the (Gold) HD addon option, then click review. The next screen showed the HD & Platinum programming as an option so I selected it and...

Yikes. It does look as though Turbo HD standalones are toast. I know I predicted it earlier in the thread, but I was really hoping I wasn't right. I wanted to switch back when they got things sorted with the missing HD. Another gimmick come and gone.:mad:
