Thats interesting, She must not have been around very long, I remember most of them when they were there, as long as they weren't a 1 episode type of thing ...
I remembered her name during the show, but I thought she was talked about in the very 1st few years, Ziva was around for about 10 years, Vera had to be before Ziva.
Just a General observation ..
I think Oklahoma , Bama and Georgia looked better this week than I thought they were.
Add in Ohio State and Indiana ... making a pretty good field so far ... I think Any of these teams could beat one another.
Texas A&M I'm just not sure of yet ... they got...
Unknown ...
I did read something a few days ago (before the resolution) about YTTV not getting the better price until they took over the #1 spot.
Don't know if that happened or not.
Of course there will be a rate hike ... there was going to be a rate hike regardless, every company does.
It will be interesting when the Smaller packages of programming gets here, sometime in '26.
I found it interesting that the last few days, majority of the reports were saying Disney was telling YTTV "It's gonna be a Long Time", then it gets resolved the next day (after 15 days of being off the air.)
I read that the hold up was ABC, not espn, a few days ago.
Then today, this morning...
I was about to inquire when I got here a few minutes ago ...
I was looking in the guide on YTTV, didn't see ESPN in the guide (or any of them other channels in dispute), but I happened to see the College football game on espn in the Home section, clicked on it and its there !
No ABC though...
"I'm told YouTube executives want to make sure customers will have access to any content that's available on ESPN's direct-to-consumer service (formerly known as ESPN+, now known as ESPN Unlimited because it also includes all of ESPN's programming — linear or digital) within the YouTube TV...
The remote with numbers, would be nice, but I can probably do without now that I'm use to the rest.
Wonder, are the Channel Numbers on Stream, the same numbers as on Sat ?
I don't know about that, usually D* says you have to be gone for 6 or 12 months.
Also, I was on Sat, this time I will more than likely be on Stream ... I refuse to sign a contract.
I am really only trying to cover the YTTV / Disney dispute ... hopefully thats over real soon and I won't have...
The guy from D* tried to get me to sign up today, of course, he kept telling me it needed the Something Air box (is it Genie air ?)
Anyways, I don't want any boxes, I want to load it on my TV (already there from previously) or on a Roku, either way.
I think he said, they would cover the box fee...
Thats what I was expecting to, I also had the HR54 and various others. (I still have the equipment in a box in the garage)
I spoke with D* today about potentially turning them on STREAMING wise come December (if YTTV - Disney issues are not over) ....
The guy offered me quite good offers...
OK ....
I have sent stuff back, back when they would send you a return box, then when they went to dropping the equipment off at Fed Ex and all the way up to Now when they said to toss most of them.
If the 1st person couldn't take care of your issue, did you Call back and get someone in the...
IF you hadn't been such a D* Hater, you could have just called them and inquired and they would have taken it right off.
I've been using D*'s equipment for 20+ years, they haven't asked for anything back in the last 10+ years ....
Wonder why they want your back ?????
Maybe they see that your...
