IDK. Was never PITA for me. For Hoppers could see each other, my two HWSs I had a jumper coax between two Duo Nodes & for my two Hopper 3s have one Duo Hub.

I never had issues with my two Hopper setup having conflict issues. Both my prior HWSs and presently my Hopper 3s were connected so they can see each other.

from what i have seen dish is good with lowering peoples bills if they call in. it's very rare that someone don't get there bill lowered and there on the internets bitchin about it. that helps retain subs to i guess.

I have a remote for old people like myself. It's called a 21.1. I only use the 45.0 remotes that came with the hopper and joeys for the rare occasion I need it. It was really easy to get both to work together. Pair this DISH!!
