dont forget, you have to "register" the remote address for tv2 on the system info screen at tv1 when you change from ir/uhf or any adapters the remote address must be registered on the receiver to work the 2nd tuner:D

sounds like you are doing it right, did you change the input on the tv? is the receiver currently in dual mode? also verify when you put the new tv1 in, you didnt disconnect the diplexer on the back of the receiver

instead of running a line from the box to tv2 you can buy diplexers from radio shack, this will combine/seperate satellite and uhf/vhf signals on one line. but thats a little more complicated. home dist port on back of box directly to the back of the tv2. check the modulator on the receiver and...
