Well try it & see...worst that can happen is, that it doesn't work. BUT...the REAL test is, unplug the receiver from BOTH power & the dish, THEN try plugging it back in to power & see after the boot-up phase, if it eventually does switch to the streaming feeds. I have a suspicion it's NOT...

Not really, if the connection is tenuous extreme cold can shrink the center wire enough to pull it back from the connector. Make sure your stingers are adequate.

Back in the day they had a batch of bad Twin LNBs that brand new out of the box would lose signal on the first warm day. Replaced at least a hundred of them.

That would be some incredible shrinkage.

5G usage of the C-band spectrum is just lame as f**k. There are far more worthless spectrum bands they could have taken away to give to cellular companies than the secret cool band where all the live events got backhauled that only a few technologically inclined individuals were 'in the know'...

Could be the center wire in the cable shrinks back away from the connection in cold weather.

It's the LNB affected by the extreme cold. Same thing happens with extreme heat

When the weather gets below 5 degrees, I lose the satellite signal. When it warms up to 10-15 degrees everything returns to normal. What could be the problem? LNB?
