Recovering My Dish Network Equipment Schematic wise

Edwin95 what are you trying to accomplish here? Maybe if we know the motivation we can help. The receiver sends 24v up to the LNB, yes it can shock you but not enough to hurt you just enough to be annoying. If you have a powered switch like an old SW64, the amperage it sends up is even higher.

Dish contract ends 28Apr2024 - any reason to renew?

Yeah I thought that was really strange about News Nation. I guess they're still operating under the WGN contract.

Yeah that has to be what he's referring to. Other than not being able to modify programming, it didn't impact me any.

EchoStar/Dish raises doubts about 'ability to continue as a going concern'

If Musk was smart he would have bought dish, finished the wireless buildout and rolled it into Starlink, but I guess Twitter looked like the better buy to him.

Cable And Satellite Providers Required To Disclose “All In” Pricing Under Newly Passed FCC Rules

I have a single Wally that feeds out to all the TVs using HDMI over coax adapters...I call it a poor man's Hopper since it functions the same and doesn't cost me anything in fees.

Cable And Satellite Providers Required To Disclose “All In” Pricing Under Newly Passed FCC Rules

If you're a savvy SG you can avoid a lot of fees with Dish. I have a Wally with OTA adapter that feeds the entire house and using an EHD I have DVR and pay zero equipment fees. If I had fees, Dish would be long gone but as it is, it's competitive with YTTV.

Made sense when it was WGN to be in Top 200, seems odd to have a news channel in that package now.

No, it was just a DVD player. The only Dish receiver that recorded to removable media was the HM-DSR100RU.

EchoStar/Dish raises doubts about 'ability to continue as a going concern'

They never seemed to have a clear plan on how they were going to use the spectrum and I never understood it. The T-Mo/Sprint merger gave them a reason to offer mobile service. I remember scratching my head every time I heard this plan...

EchoStar/Dish raises doubts about 'ability to continue as a going concern'

If they were going down the 5G path, they should have offered 5G home internet option as they started bringing towers online, it would have really helped with the cashflow.

What the hell...I have to pay to cancel

Well to be fair, the 501/508 had a very low take rate...at the time it was a $50 one time upgrade fee at signup to go from a 301 to 501. People decided $5/mo for the rest of their lives was better than a one time $50 fee. I'm with you and always hated the DVR fee which is why I have a...

Anybody knows what model this could be?

iirc, the 301 was never packaged with a dish and it would have been the 500 by that point. I am going to guess this is a box for a 2000/3000/4000/3700/4700. I don't think the 1000 or 2700 were ever packaged with a dish, they were intended to be sold as additional receivers.
