    Being where I am in California and having a house that has a large roof facing south I also get lots of solar sales people. I look at my Nest doorbell camera and if I see it is one of them I simply ignore it.

    I think your assumption would be incorrect. They can do those updates via satellite or internet downloads.

    Yes it will. If it doesn't have the data to connect there is nothing to connect to.

    I did exactly that. I pressed Home 3 times, and then 2 for Network Settings, then 7 for Internet Settings, then Info, then Recall and got the Clear Wireless Settings menu.
