I don't see anything like that. Does that mean my contract has expired? I know I've been with them for at least 20 years. Don't believe I'm getting any discount with them now. ($98 for Americas top 200)
Not the TV. I use a soundbar connected directly to my Hopper. TV speakers are not used except rare occasion of bypassing Dish and streaming direct through TV.
I have had a similar problem with my (OTA) local FOX station over the last month or so. It would just freeze up until I switched channels. Doesn't happen often.
Now a new problem has me wondering if perhaps my LNB is bad. My local PBS station over the last couple of days is narrating cartoons...
I discovered I had the HBO Max app on my Sony TV so everythings good even though I had to listen to it with the TV speakers and not my sound bar because of the way I have it hooked up. I do wish they would create an app for Dish just to make it easier.
Thanks. Just ordered one. Had an old Asus laptop sitting around. Removed the Crucial 250GB HD and will try this EHD setup. Always thought EHD had to have it's own power source.
Finally was able to get a Dish tech to reset my guide. Did not know if there was a way I could do it. Apparently not. Working now although HBO shows haven't completely shown up for later tonight. Hopefully will reset completely by tomorrow.
Just saw I can get 6 months of HBO Max for Apple, Google, Roku, LG, Microsoft, Sony, and Vizio for $7.49 a month. I may do that instead. Although I will miss not being able to record to DVR...
Two weeks have gone by and when I go to my Dish account it still says "You are currently billed by Windstream for your DISH Network service." So I don't think it's working. Should I call Dish again and start the process all over? Probably not their fault but not sure what else to do.
It's been a week now and I haven't heard from anyone. Probably more Windstreams fault. I know they have had a lot of financial problems and their srevice has gone downhill lately.
Update: Finally got a dish rep that was ablt to sent a message to Windstream that I wanted to unbundle. Told me it probably take a week. Hopefully the HBO $12 special will still be available.
Well I called Dish and they said they could NOT unbundle me. I was told to call Windstream. When I called Windstream they transfered me to Dish. I'm just going in circles.
