My recorded program NCIS Sydney had a problem I never saw before. When I hit the arrow right button to fast forward thru the commercials it would skip to the end like it was finished. I could exit and go back and it would pick up where I stopped it and I could limp thru the recording, having to...

I too have lost recordings because they listed the program as a rerun. Fortunately not an everyday thing. Yet.

I record shows on ABC every week and have not seen the problem since maybe early last month. Must be lucky!

There are indeed! I think I read something about them paying to be included, so yes.

So what are the issues with making them recordable?

It updated itself to H379. So what happened to all the "good" stuff in 377 and 378?

My H3 is still on 376 and feeling left out on the fun. What happens to 377 and 378 if my H3 upgrades to 379?

Good news that it was not just me, hate those kind of problems. Weather here is clear and 70 degrees, not weather related here and I do not know how to check an uplink's position, let alone the weather there:(

Shortly before noon Pacific as I was watching the screen went black. I checked around to see the scope of the problem, all were black .There was an error message, can't remember what. Channels returned about 5 minutes later. Anyone else see this?

I had a problem with lip sync about 3 years ago on one channel, I switched to another channel, went back a few days later and the problem had gone away. It was there for a couple of days and someone somewhere did something, it's a very obnoxious problem when it exists!

I too wondered about the 811. Also I did not recognize the OP's name or those that replied until the recent posts. dug that one up from the boneyard!

My son came in and asked what's wrong with the tv, something about an error code and do not disturb. Turns out my H3 updated to 361, at an irregular time I thought. Anyone else?

A bit of an edit to post above. My H3 and its remote have always backed up 10 seconds and go forward 30 seconds, still does. Never had the problem that others have posted about

Just checked, mine went to 360 on the 9th, have not noticed any problems

And I am on H357. Why the disparity in updates? I got 357 end of July, 344 must be ancient
