I just bought a new desktop from Dell. Fortunately, I had the option of getting either XP or Vista. I chose XP and I'm very happy that I did since talking to others who've had a multitude of problems with Vista.
I agree it's a touching story. Does he have the talent to go all the way? Probably not. Yet, perhaps the media attention will help him on the road to success of some kind.
Quite honestly, I've heard enough negative stories to be happy wearing glasses. I'm glad that many of you have had good success; but the alternative is not a road upon which I'd care to travel.
The reason I never had LASIK done is because I have an astigmatism. The docs said if I had the procedure, I would never be able to read again without glasses. I couldn't fathom the thought of always having to have glasses around to read; especially the Sunday paper in bed.
Actually Don, you need grammarcheck more than spellcheck...lol The only one who should "bare with you" would be a significant other. I think you meant "bear". ;)
I agree that the address bar is not very responsive when several windows are open. It also seems as though the menu icons changed on me and aren't as easy to find. That includes the outlook icon to check mail. I had to manually include it in the bar. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get used to the little...
I have a Garmin GPSMap60c. I've used it to map out acres of property we own in Washington State, drive on long distance trips, and check out elevations. I plan to try geo cacheing someday soon. I love this little thing.
What a horrible tragic accident. This is the kind of thing that puts everything into the proper perspective. When you see your loved ones tonight, tell them how much you love them. Never miss the opportunity to do that.
Great, feel free to contact me with any IPOD questions. I've also reformatted the IPOD several times and have learned from my own mistakes. I'd be happy to help others avoid them in advance.
