    I also believe that you can only have so many recordings as the Hopper will only show the first I think 199 or was it 200 titles so you won't be able to playback over that amount?

    I already tried that option a few times, didn't make a difference. No one so far has been able to explain how to load and install the Downloaded Android TV software in tech settings since not sure what the point of it is to download but there is no install option when it was working.

    I wonder how does the Available Joey Software list get updated? Is it the Hopper 3 polling DISH or is it DISH polling the Hopper 3 as normally it will update on it's own after the software is updated although it may take the first nightly reboot after the software update for it to work.

    Yes, until the Available Joey Software lists the Android TV versions which starts with a P, both the Download software update for the Android TV device itself and the Technician Settings -> Download Android TV (ATV) will have the no target error and won't be able to check or update the software.

    It should but in my case, I had P14701 until I manually updated yesterday so the 11/26/2025 is not the installed date. Yes, there are always some bad parts about it. MultiView for me even without the Hopper+ is not stable as it can hang or cause the Hopper3 to reboot.

    It should but in my case, I installed P14701 on 11/26/2025 until I manually updated yesterday to P14703 so the 11/26/2025 is not the installed date but seems to be the date of the installation of the previous version as I always post about new versions on the same day I manually update to it.

    Look to the column next to it, you are looking at the Hopper3 software version, there is a Hopper Plus software section to the right of it.

It will show a release date because even today when I downloaded and installed P14703 on the Hopper Plus which was within the last 15 minutes, it shows on the Hopper3 Diagnostics November 26, 2025 3:03AM, not the date it was installed.     Joey's probably do update as they depend on the Hopper3 since there is even a Reset Joey files. Hopper+ is basically Android TV so it depends all what is included with your SmartTV.     How delayed was it from the release date because mines never updated on it's own even since when the HopperPlus first came out and not now either as it was at least 6 months since the last time I manually updated and it was still the old version.

    The Hopper Plus never updated on it's own from experience, I always had to check for updates from the Hopper Plus's Device Preferences in order to update. It still does not use the downloaded ATV files. The Hopper 3 does auto update but it's still slower than manually doing it.

    Yes, downloading is possible with Settings -> Diagnostics -> Tools under the Receiver section -> Technician Settings -> Download ATV Files but how does one actually install the downloaded files is the question.

    I am glad the display format is brought back... and PIP too... as PIP is the beginning where there is a chance the Side by Side and Multi-View may eventually come back in the not too distant future...
