I found VOOM because I had Comcast and Comcast SD was so poor it was unwatchable on a 50" plasma. The HD was fine, but when I watched Fox, or CNN, or MSNBC, etc. it was a nightmare. At least the SD on D and E are watchable. VOOm was perfect, and this is really sad.

Sean, In a previous post on the other thread I mentioned missing OTA channels. I was dead wrong. When I got home and checked their RF strength-- it was not there. There is enough strength to get the guide, but not enough for the picture. I am in Fort Lauderdale, and receiving all the channels...

Sorry Sean, am at work and do not have access to the receivers. From memory I know that channel 5, 25, and 29 are strong, am getting the guide, but not the picture. When I get home I will update fully.

Today, when I saw the Voom DVR was a 2005 intro, my heart sank. Love my VVV, but need that DVR badly. Did I read on a thread that the delay is due to the MPEG4 upgrade? First the upgrade and then the DVR?

Yahooo! One very big difference after the update, no white screen switching channels. I am using the DVI, and very often when changing channels I had a white screen for a few seconds until I changed back and forth, or waited, now it seamlessly switches channels. GREAT!
