thanks for info.looks like cbs is only catering to the mortjority,the hell with making it functional for everybody.what was you contact,local or national?maybe if enough of us complained ,they would address it.

anybody have trouble with cbs channels rebooting there boxes??im not having this problem with pbs.i live in southern minnesota and the 2 cbs stations are in opposite directions.

i have one of those boxes also and i get lots of channels.i belive the updates are for boxes that where used in areas it was active in.if the service wasnt in your area and it recieves channels i wouldnt mess with it.ive got a copy also just in case i need it later.remember signals are at half...

digital signal i read somewhere that digital signals are only at half strength untill feb 2009.so if your reception is weak,it should be ok after that date.
