In 1995 we purchased at Costco what I remember to be a old 3000 receiver I think it was? Istalled/mounted the DISH myself and it took me days to actually get the signal LOL Back then we did not want pay for installation fees.

Yes we did then unbelievably Dish even sent out a Dish repair tech free of charge to address this EHD problem. He was unsuccessful also so evidently (according to Matt) we must reauthorize our 722's "Home Key" but we are fairly tech ignorant so we must be out off luck unless we can figure out...

Hello, Can anyone explain what it means to "Reauthorize" a DVR 722's "HOME KEY"??? It's been suggessted I must do this in order to restore recognition between this 722 and new EHD that was already previously formatted to this same DVR 722 just several weeks ago...MANY THANKS!
