Got a 722k and have the exact same problems with this channel (HD)...black screen and cannot rewind that is the only known channel that I get that has that problems since they added it.

yeah mine is touchy ever since i got it it skips back almost all the way back to the beginning of my recordings whenever I use the skip back button. If you have it in a space with little to no ventilation it will shut down because it gets too hot.

what is the new slingbox adapter? do I have to have a slingbox to watch this?

Just upgraded to EA also...Madison Wi. never had so many outages ever, anytime there are rain clouds it goes out....even when there is no rain, rarely had that happen when I had 110/119. Bummer.

Just had it happen last night and also last weekend on my 722k screws everything up my recordings and have to reset the system and have to wait and wait and wait....

multiple channels for me too....run all audio through my new pioneer receiver using hdmi never had a problem with my 622dvr.....ever! You would think that the 722k is a better more improved model.

Just switched from 622 to 722k I NOW have the same issues, dropped audio, brand new pioneer receiver with all up to date hdmi connections, also when I switch from a station that is transmitting digital 5.1 to stereo 2.0 I get NO sound until I turn off/on my samsung hdtv!

yep happened to me too yesterday's recording of supernatural my system is 2 weeks old 722k, never had that happen with my 622 which i had for about 4 yrs, maybe shouldn't have traded it in for the 722k...seems to have more weird stuff like that go on i never had problems with my 622.

Wonder if dish will compensate us for not being able to receive those new HD channels? It shouldn't be our fault they can't get those channels to us! chatted with tech support and was told I would have to have a tech come out and change dishes from my 110 and 119 location to the eastern arc...

I have both seagate and western and have lost programs on both...i never had this problem before just started happening recently!

My 2 are working as well as of today.

Used to work with my homeplug all the time hasn't worked for at least 2 weeks now....vip622 and 612. It did work for one day though and I was able to acces all of my recordings on my external hard drive as well as my receiver. Then after that never was able to access it at all.

Same here can't access via homeplug on my 622 and 612! Been flakey alot lately.

How much are you willing to spend on a dvd recorder vs. another hard drive? The hard drives are going down in price all the time can find really good deals.

I had the same symptoms.....I had moved mine into a new entertainment center and found out it kept overheating with the fan running on and off constantly....moved it out into the open and a couple of days later no more problems....i think they all need alot of ventalation.

I upgraded from your same set up to 1 612dvr and 1 211k still have the 622dvr.

gotta have it will use with my new harmony remote in basement tv set up!
