    picture size

    on some HD broadcasts I have black bars on each side. techs tell me that is the way it is being broadcast. I have 50" pannie plasma 5yrs old, aspect is 16.9 Format on the remote does nothing to expand the picture. Am using HD-DVR. Hope someone has a solution
