    Flipping between channels here too. Doesn't seem to be while changing channels, but while using the Prev/Last channel button. I'm not 100% certain on that, but I believe it to be true.

    Austin is up? What channels? Edit: looks like 7, 24 and 42, Fox, ABC and CBS. No NBC...or CW. KXAN (NBC) owns KNVA (CW) so maybe those will be a package deal.

    I didn't mind most of it. It was very clean. It could have been a good deal lower. But the main thing that pissed me off about it was the size of the bug that stuck up above the bar and into the rest of the image. :mad:

    The problem isn't a 720p versus 1080i thing. It's taking a 720p source, converting it to 1080i and then having my box reconvert it to 720p to be displayed on my TV causes blocking on fast motion and graphics. I'm actually extremely thankful that MNF moved off of ABC because of this. College...

    I'm 25+ miles from the towers in a suburb and pick them all up with a Zenith Silver Sensor sitting on top of my TV. Not many people in the Austin area have a problem getting HD channels OTA. Still, it is a good thing. :up

    I noticed the HD gamebreak too. I was extremely confused. That was one of the worst SD broadcasts I've seen, and then I see an HD highlight and start to wonder.

    Just a Clue about ABC-HD on Directv

    If your local ABC station is owned by Belo (as ours is) they convert it to 1080i before sending it out. Not bad for the people with 1080i sets. But for those of us with 720p sets it gets reconverted to 720p and looks l horrible at times...especially during onscreen graphics on MNF.
