When we switch the positioner to USALS the screen goes blank, we do not get a USALS menu.

Ok we have the LNB changed and we have no signal at all for our channels. When we set the positioner to USALS and hit enter we get a blue Fortec Star screen and then it goes to a blank channel. We are looking at the book and we do not have the same screen as the one pictured for the Motorized...

If we remove the switch would we set the positioner to USALS then?

We do have the single LNB. We tried tweaking, but were not able to get any better on the quality. We were able to download some channels but they are not coming in very well.

I am looking at both physical and downloaded manuals, but the screen we have is different. SO if we have the double LNB is that going to mess things up for us? My husband said he does have the single LNB, should we change that out?

We just got AMC 1 in and it looks to be true south now. We are trying to change the elevation because we are getting a very low quality level (29%). We still do not have the screen the same as what it shows in the manual. Do you have any suggestions there?

We have now figured out that we have had the LNB set wrong, we had it set at Universal. Maybe this will help us out.

The channel is viewable if it is not on a channel that came up scrambled, or with a very week signal. We moved to AMC4 and it moved quite a ways to the east of the AMC1 that we found. Also in a previous post we were told to set Freq to 12101 but it is not available on our list, and we can not...

Thanks Anole and Lak7, we are going to play around with it some more this evening. I kinds got the idea that we could set up using the USALS but was not sure, so thanks for that bit of info. As for the TP's there are a lot of them on some satellites, and they are not TP's that are on the list...
