    I've been with E* for about 8 years. I want HD so called about 4 months ago. Got a csr who acted like I was a pain for even calling and heavy sighed every question I asked. She finally snapped "So do you want to sign up?" I waited to beats, said "no" and hung up. REALLY want HD so tried again...

    RGJ - I agree that E* seems unconcerned about customer satisfaction or retention. I've been trying to get them to upgrade me to HD...(I want to pay for it Navychop, et al)...but it hasn't happened and E* doesn't seem to care. I won't go into long gory story about sales department and installer...

    Thanks dish_nc -- I'm a non-tech...so do you have 2 dishes? And since we don't have hd now, & no hd receiver, would we be better to wait unti EA goes live and get dish, receiver, service all at once. We've waited this long, a few more months isn't terrible.

    this site is awesome - i've learned a lot the last 2 days. My searching began when an E* technician came out for my request to upgrade to HD programming and said i wouldn't be able to get a signal because of a particular tree. Our current dish is mounted on the chimney of our 2 story house...
