No they are not. At least in my case. Maybe it has more to do with the receiver's decoder chipset than the satellite signal. When i was on DTV just a week ago my picture was far better than it is now with a Dish 522. Cheers, JS

Yes I must agree with you 100%. Although unfortunately I made the opposite switch because Dish offered free equipment. Actually they were pretty generous and gave me 3 DVRs with one of them being a dual tuner DVR so they have DTV beat in that regard. Although I thought with them both being DBS...
