    I have a 1 question that I know all of you posters to this thread will be able to answer: Are all satellites used for TV positioned at the equator, because they have to be geosynchronous? I guess what I am asking is, do all geosynchronous satellites sit at the equator?

    The repeated frame is normal for non-live shows. Live events should have all new frames--no repeated frames. VHS tape does the same thing, but I think it repeats every 5th frame instead every 4th frame for non-live shows.
