Has anyone in the Atlanta market gotten a call yet? Neither my parents nor my brother, both with 61.5 + 110/119 setups, have received any contact from Dish. Also, besides the 9 HD channels launched in Feb, are there any other ones that have been added that a 61.5 + 110/119 setup is missing?

Solid Signal told me they would have them mid May.

Don't you think 61.5 will also carry core CONUS HD programming, not just 72.7? E15 is an all-CONUS bird that will go to 61.5.

As to Univision on D11, guess that makes sense as I got Univision before now as part of regular choice plus package (or whatever they call it) and I only have a SL3 LNB. Telefutura on 110w or 119w makes sense as it is part of the Latino programming package.

National HD are on 61.5 and 72.7. Recent channels have been put on 72.7 for the most part. 77 only has locals for some select markets only I think at the moment.

I agree with dishnet_tec. why were people here saying the 1000.4 EA dish does not work with the DPP44(s)? That is the only switch that it is supposed to be hooked to it as far as I know.......

It looks to me like you need to consider other locations on your roof.

I wonder if you indeed have to wait to be contacted first or can you get the re-point deal by calling in? Atlanta is a huge market and they have not put out any letters in this market as far as I am aware, yet a ton of customers in this area have mixed arc setups and are no getting all the Hd...

The biggest concern I have about going out and getting and HR24 retail is that if it goes bad would DirecTV send a refurbed HR21 or what have you in its place? They need to step forward and say this will not be the case for HR24s.

If you need to transition to EA or WA from a mixed dish set up, I would think that should not require a contract extension.

I am still a touch confused. If E15 is all CONUS beams, and they are moving CONUS HD currently located on 61.5 to 72.7, what programming will be on E15 at 61.5? Good to hear it is being launched soon, though.

That is the case for several markets I think. I believe at the moment 77w is only carrying local channels (on CONUS beams) for certain EA markets. After QUETZSAT-1 is launched next year at 77w, I think you will see that slot carry a lot more local markets on spot beams and perhaps some...
