    Problem with 625 inputs

I just got a 625 to replace a 301, I have a DISH 500 where everything was fine using the twin LNBF. I'm now encountering a problem that has baffled me and was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same problem and might help me out. Test 1 a. Use the included splitter (2150Mhz) to...

    Hughes GAEBO & International Dish

I have the GAEB0 lying around and was wondering if it can be used with the 36" international dish and 4x4 or 6x8 multiswitches which I still would need to buy? The reason I ask is that I already subscribe to DISH network (which I have commited to) but want to be able to get The Filipino Channel...

    International Channels

When TFC was on their own they transmitted from Telestar 5. Does anyone know if that is still the case and the additional DirecTV dish is just needed to point to T5?

What's needed to receive programming off of 121

I know it's been posted here before but I just want to confirm. In order to receive programming from satellite 121 we cannot use the standard Dish/LNB that are used for the other satellites like 61.5, 110, 119 etc ... Rather a standard Ku LNB will do. I currently have a 3 foot dish with a Ku...

Finally was able to try it and was able to lock on to 129 successfully at similar strength levels as RandallA, at least it's consistent. Thanks !!!! Now it's time to add VOOM.

Checked online at www.kusat.com and the provider id is 4128 (I was close) Here are some good links from them: http://www.kusat.com/go.php?path=/install/sc.php http://www.kusat.com/go.php?path=/install/sc-75cm.php http://www.kusat.com/go.php?path=/install/sc-ellip.php

    Canadian relocating to California

I bought my dish and receiver after I had moved here on one of my many trips back. I have the elliptical dish and aiming the dish requires patience. Using a satellite finder would help and once a signal is acquired waiting 15-20 seconds for the receiver to get a lock is needed. Then slowly...

    Canadian relocating to California

Yesterday might have been a bad day to try aligning any dish due to the nasty storm here in the bay area. I am assuming you are in California now right?

    Canadian relocating to California

I live in San Jose and have had no problems get *C. The strongest signal I've been able to get is in the high 60's. I'm subscribed to the Bi-lingual package and have no problems getting the French and HD channels. By the way I'm also from Montreal, welcome to San Jose ...

How to point my dish at 129

Thanks! Just a long time reader first time poster .... I use to subscribe to VOOM and had them upgrade me to a bigger dish before they went out of business. If I used the larger VOOM dish instead of the D300 for 129 do you think the signal strength might be better?

How to point my dish at 129

Thanks. The dish pointing at 148 is a D300 & I'm located in San Jose, CA. Since I get my locals OTA losing the few stations on 148 would not hurt.

How to point my dish at 129

I currently have a 742 with a DISH 500 and a single dish pointing at 148. The only thing I get off of the 148 are the locals which I already get OTA. I was thinking of pointing that dish at 129 for ESPN2 HD and VOOM when they become available. I did see the documentation posted previously in...
