Thanks, Bobby! That fixed it. But why, for the love of Pete, did the tech have a new dvr sent to me when all it was was a stupid button on the remote? They could lower their costs if it wasn't for all these blunders!!!!!

This problem was fixed by using the Format button on the remote. The tech didn't know that - now I get to send back another perfectly good 722.

After the first couple of days since the L615 update, the picture went to some different resolution, like 480 or 720. Tech support says I need a new receiver. This will be the 4th one.

Ya, I have a new problem too. The picture is stretched. It isn't formatted to the screen properly anymore, kind of like when somebody e-mails you picture that has too much resolution. The little icon from the network sits halfway out of the picture, and everything appears bigger and less clear...

That seems to have fixed the audio problem, but now I've lost all my HD. Everything's in standard definition! What the huh? The tech says I need a new receiver (the 4th one now). Makes me wonder if it's the new software update that's causing this.

This is all fixed with the newest software update L615. Sound doesn't break up at all anymore.

Well, somehow they did it, because I've got L615 now. Could be just a coincidence.

I called up DN 800-333-3474 and talked to tech support. They told me L614 is outdated, so they're downloading L615 to my receiver. You figure it should of updated automatically. I'll record Jeopardy tonight and see how it works.

The service tech came out and told me he's never heard of this problem. He called tech support and they said that they are aware of this problem, but don't have a resolution yet. I called Dish and got them to credit me back the local station charges since this started. I'll be asking for more...
