I actually spotted 10ish on the way up here! All solids except for one lone mesh one. And they were all different lookin. Button hooks, tri support arms, quad support arms, some that had mounts coming out of the dish itself. I was kinda amazed at all the different ones... Gonna see if I can get...

Well, I have some sad news. I just drove by the house that had the black mesh dish, and it's gone today. :( it was there just two days ago, so thats kind of a pain. But I'll stop and get a pic of the solid dish on my way home. And I might drive around a bit and see if I can't hunt down another...

Wow!. After reading about all of Dee's problems, it sounds like i better stick with a bigger dish, especially since im new at the game. I'll see if i can do some convincing and get the go ahead for a 8-10footer, got my eye on a couple. Ill see if i can post some pics tomorrow and see if you guys...

so I got my stacked LNB from turbosat yesterday! got the horn mounted up and on the dish. Seems to be working pretty good so far. I am still getting used to aiming with this lnb though. Seems slightly more difficult than the hughes lnb was but im happy with it! played around with the dish today...

Well between work and my new found car troubles today, i found some time to try the 6100, and it locks on fine... with like 85% signal 94% on the lnb - no jumping. made no adjustments to the dish before scanning. so its quite possible that i have some settings messed up in the receiver

Did some quick tweaking this mornin before work and seemed like no matter which way I adjusted it fell off to 0%... gonna try the cs6100 when I get home and see if that reads any different... Will report back when I have some results...

So i decided id swing my dish over to 83w to check out tuff tv and see what it was about... Had to enter the sat and Transponder info manually of course and proceeded to line up my dish. Got my elevation/skew/AZ all set and my signal meter will constantly jump anywhere between 31% and 98%... Any...

Mind=blown! Lol but I'm learning so it's all good. So basically what I'll need to do is feed the cable into the v side of the multiswitch and scan at the specified freqs for h and v? then the receivers will b able to tune both since it only sees them as being v?

Ygpm. So will I use that lnb with a multiswitch? Or will I need a dp switch with that bad boy?

I further inspected the Hughes lnb and it is elliptical but inside the feed it's circular. So my question is does it make the feed a elliptical or circular? If it is circular I'll just get me a dual output lnb and slap that baby on there... Lol
