I've got a Dish VIP211 HD satellite receiver. It has an HDMI output.
I also have a Sony SDM-P234 LCD monitor which has a DVI-D input.
I've purchased an HDMI-to-DVI cable.
I thought I would check in with the smart folks on this site before I attempt to drive this monitor with my HD...
