these numbers are fine you must remember with dish network they revamped their signal quality metres a few years back so you must take your number and double it to get a true signal quality number ie: 41 is accually 82 signal. Hope this helps

Also with this gps unit in the recievers are they able to tell where the unit is as we don't want to lose our subscription cause we use the reciever in 2 places

so let me make sure I understand you correctly, even when we are in canada in the NY spotbeam the reciever should never have picked up the locals from NY only the SC where the reciever is registered. Hence why we get the SC locals when we are their but still appear when we move the reciever...
