sounds like it could be your lnbf... check all of your fittings and lines make sure you have no splitters in line and then after all of that swap the lines on your lnbf and see if the problem jumps from one stb to the other.

actually splitters will work so long as the STBs behind the splitters are not only looking at the same sat but also the same transponder. Otherwise there will be intermittent signal loss.
