Yes it would be cheaper to stay with E* but I'm not going to buy a piece of hardware to recieve Hi-def content when providing it is obviously very low priority to them. I'll spend the extra money to make the switch to a company that actively works to aquire as many hi-def sources as possible...

I agree...I'll supplement Voom with another service.

I for one would pay $150/mo if they gave me every major HD channel available right now without any loss in current HD quality...but I'm nuts like that. ;) If I decide to dump E* for a Voom & cable combo my bill is going to be close to that anyway. I mean don't get me wrong, I won't like...

My thoughts exactly...

Messing with AR's of movies is the only thing I can see that make me hesitate about getting Voom. I can understand them not having control of the feeds from the HD channels that are sourced from other companies but Voom should do their best to keep their "exclusive" content in their original...

I'd like to get Voom but altering the aspect ratio of the HD films puts a sour taste in my mouth.
