New Terms of Service for DirecTV Stream

This is a convoluted mess. directv.com doesn’t even mention Stream, you have to go to streamtv.directv.com. When you go there, there is a reference to the dongle, which takes you back to Directv.com. Why is there a $120 equipment return fee, if Stream no longer has Directv supplied...

It was fixed this morning on its own.

    HBO Max/Discovery+ Merger

Launch has been abysmal for me. HBO Max app will not run, tells me to upgrade to Max. Max will not let me log in using either the login with your provider option or a direct login. I have it free with my Directv Stream subscription.

DIRECTV UNIFIED BRAND COMING APRIL 6th.

Especially when the box is nothing but a glorified android box. If they add this to pre-existing accounts, I'm done.

    He wasn't asking you.

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

Simple. Tired of his trolling. He is prob 25% of the posts on a subject he has no interest in. Definition of trolling. He doesn't have ST. He doesn't have Directv. Never has. Never will.

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

No, you didn't. I'll ignore the first question. Answer the other two Juan. Have YOU ever had ST? Have YOU ever subscribe to DirecTV? Answer those Juan. Stop ignoring them.

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

You didn't answer my questions Juan.

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

Justifiable? No. But $350 is what I'm willing to pay (and about what I'm paying now). And I agree, I do not think it will be $200.

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

One last time Juan. I defined it for you . How much would you be willing to pay for a la carte ST with red zone and fantasy zone? Have you ever had ST? Have you ever had DirecTV? My answers are $350, Yes and Yes. Give me your three one word answers. And if you cannot answer the first...

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

I'm not asking a "good price". I'm asking how much YOU'd be willing to pay for ST. I'll define it for you, to be even more direct. ST like it is now a la cart. All out of market games with red zone and fantasy zone (you have no idea since you've never had it). Also, again, answer the...

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

Juan, once again, they are three very clear, very basic questions. Have YOU had ST, ever? Have YOU ever had Directv, ever? How much would YOU would be WILLING to pay for ST. It doesn't take a paragraph. You can answer all with three words. My answers would be Yes, Yes and $350.
  13. R

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

You answered nothing. I asked how much YOU would be willing to pay. I asked if YOU ever had ST. I asked if YOU ever had Directv. Answer those.
  14. R

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

How much would you pay for it? Have you ever had it, ever? Have you ever had Directv, ever? Two of those are yes or no questions. The other is just asking for a dollar amount.

    Simultaneous recordings on Directv Stream

Odd. The 56001 zip code has several more stations than the 56002 zip code.
  16. R

    Simultaneous recordings on Directv Stream

That is the number of concurrent streams allowed and not related to the number of shows you can record at once. The shows are not stored locally. As far as I know, there is no limit.

Jesus....you are quoting an article from July....and assuming some of the largest streaming providers are going to "slap something together". At least you seem to like football, unlike Juan, who I'm guessing neither watches football or has ST.....yet has posted about a hundred times in this tread.

Just move along instead of doing the same schtick you do with everyone.

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

Nope, that is 100% NOT what you implied and you are doing the usual spin and moving the goal post, something you get called out on all the time. You IMPLIED high speed internet was not necessary. I just gave you the two largest internet providers in the country. Their base packages are more...

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

Do you not understand the base packages from virtually any internet provider, unless you are in the sticks, is far and away enough to support streaming. Do you not get it is not 1998 anymore? EDIT: The BASIC plan...the LOWEST you can get at my house is $40 for 500 down with no caps. So WTF...

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

I am Gen X. Every friend I have is Gen X. My parents are boomers. All of their friends are boomers. Every single person I know has high speed internet and it is unrelated to whether they have streaming.
  22. R

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

Oh good lord. I’d have the exact same speed internet with or without streaming. Just a stupid argument.

At this point, do you really think new boxes are coming out regardless of what happens? Sat is dead.
  24. R

DIRECTV unlikely to keep NFL Sunday Ticket

No, I left because or outrageous monthly equipment fees for multiple TVs. Had nothing to do with "sports costs".

No, you don't have to be a D* sub. If you have no line of site, or live in an MDU, it is available without being a D* sub.
