How come the locals guide data takes so much longer to download than the other channels'? I've scrolled up through them and don't have the patience to see when their listings end.

Why? It went forward a week on DirecTV. It's doing this on both my 522 and 311 that I had installed a couple hours ago. The other channels guide info seem fine. The guide seems to only update the local programming a few minutes before the next program is about to start...

OK, I read this and I'm confused. What would be needed to get a 522 to work properly through one drop? I already have a jack from my existing DirecTV installation in the room the 522 would go, and really don't feel like having the installer run a coax from another room. Does Dish not provide...

I've heard that the masts of the DirecTV and Dish Network dishes are the same, so you shouldn't have to completely install a new dish. I plan on making the installers who come here try to do it with my old DirecTV dish. They shouldn't complain much, my install is going to be super easy for them...
