I noticed this on my H3 lately. However, this morning it is back to normal again. Must be something DISH is doing. Maybe related to the recent guide data change.

One noticeable improvement with U343 is how much faster our Joey 2s are. Guide scrolling is much smoother than before. I'll take it.

Ha! I am always interested in where new or current channels are placed or move to. I actually like Satellite Guys better because it seems like the folks here are more informed and know what they're talking about. The only reason I follow the other site is for the uplink reports.

Yeah it looks like Gaither TV was replaced with a paid programming channel. Not sure why though. Maybe Gaither stopped paying to be on DISH?

This is what I hope DISH does with the subchannels: 237 Laff TV 236 Justice Network 235 GetTV 234 Grit 233 FETV This makes the most sense. I also hope that someday DISH will move Smithsonian Channel to 197 so that it's closer to similar programming.

You may be right about QVC not wanting to be near other shopping channels. Maybe Ch. 115 is where Beauty iQ will go.

U331 has done away with the 'Smart Channel' feature under the 'Power On' settings. Now it only has 'last channel viewed' and 'Show Home Screen'. In case anyone forgot, 'Smart Channel' is the Hopper's feature where it would learn your most viewed channels at certain times of day and would be on...

I've seen this too on our Hopper 3. I had something recording when this happened. Flipping back to a channel and a black screen, no sound and the banner saying "Delayed Live TV". I stopped the recording and that fixed the issue. Another issue I had was that I had a recording, and I stopped it...

That is interesting. Our Vizio's sharpness is at 0 and there is no blurring. Also our Toshiba's settings are about as low as they can go and no blur on them. It may just depend on the TV brand or model.

Try turning the sharpness down in your TV's picture settings. I find the picture on our Vizio and Toshiba look better with it turned down. When sharpness is down, the picture looks closer to real life, because in real life there is no edge enhancement, and the noise artifacts, that increasing...

I have experienced this. It happened when using the recall to switch back to HGTV. Interesting thing to note is that it read "Delayed Live TV" at the top of the banner where it normally says "Live TV". I'm not sure why it said that but it must have something to do with it. This issue happened...

I agree. The Flex Pack and the add-on packs are good in concept, they were just executed poorly by DISH.
