    try to go into the audio output settings and change to PCM only. i have to do the same with my xbox and a lot of other stuff cuz after i bought my insignia tv, I discovered they don't support Dolby Digital so i've had to do this with a lot of devices..

    what type of dish/LNB do you have? 3LNB dish... 1000/ 1k.2 lnb all lnb's are equally spaced apart, 1k.4 lnb 1 is setting off to the side. 2 LNB dish, choose 500 1 LNB 300 They all have different angles and i like jim's way of shooting the dish. def use that.

    VIP622 receiver new spontaneous reboot issue...

    very unlikely the changes provoked the issue unless there MAYBE grounding issues? still that is a huge reach IMHO. but you can always Drop the cables to verify your sat installation is not causing the reboot. also if you have another receiver you can swap locations with? that would tell as well.

    Sling with EHD?

    622/612 does not support sling adapter and last i tried 722 shows the EHD content but will not play them. not sure if that has changed it has been a while since i tried.
