I have a 500 dish for 119 and 110. I want to hook up two 722k receivers. I just have a single coax to one 722k now. I want to add a second 722k with out having to climb up to attach a second coax. I'm 75 and don't want to break my neck. My wife doesn't want any one from Dish here.
I am a retired Echostar tech and I like to work on my owned equipment. Also my wife is used to the 722. If I find the right hard drive what do I have to do once I replace the failed drive.
Is there a way to replace the Hard drive in a Dish 722k receiver? What hard drive will work. Is there any special way to program the Hard drive? I know this has been asked before but that was several years ago.
This has diagrams for the 44 switch. They don't show the power inserter which should be on port one. Make sure there is power going to the switch. Check the outlet the inserter is plugged into.
