    Is The 811 Really That Bad?

    I also had to take the plunge after being told the DD 5.1 bug on my 6000 won't be fixed like it will on the 811. I'll keep the 6000 as a second unit. At least the net cost is $0. I hope the picture quality is as good.

    Did they ever fix the DD Optical audio

    1. The problem is not hardware related - my 6000 worked just fine with my old Denon via optical out, but it won't work with the 1014. I have to use RCA analog to get ANY sound. 2. Denon is excellent but many feel the 1014 (almost identical to the Elite 52TX) is the best <$500 available...
