You can reset it to 4, 5, 6, 8 or disable. Go to updates in your menu and change it.

If you have an OTA module, there is a conflict that causes the remote to become useless, the screen or nanner freeze and reboot to occur. DISH hopes that software update L752 corrects the problem. It was rolled out in June and July. We shall see.

If you have an OTA module it should be fixed with the latest L752 software upgrade. Maybe.....

I have had that issue with my DVR and had to go to TV2 to stop the recording. I also had an issue where the autotune would not work. I think this software has become so complicated and filled wth bugs.

Work around? Why should we be forced to do work-arounds with faulty receiver software. With my viewing habits, I am not sure I can avoid OTA channels. After all, that is why I have the OTA module. I get my so-called "locals" from DC but prefer my local news, weather and some other programs...

Redneck, it is OK. I have kept copious notes on my (our) problem. If we have to wait until June, DISH should be cutting the bill because it is their software causing the problem not us. They should do the right thing.

Each satellite provider has its fans. I have had Dish for 12 years. There have been issues regarding equipment failure and glitches. Still I have no plan to swicth. Dish's HD quality is awesome.

Fox will only black out it's O and Os not all FOX locals. Those locals have separate deals with Dish for retransmission. My FOX in DC will go black and I am 75 miles from the station so I am toast.
