I got $5.00 off for 3 mo, and $3.00 off for an addtional 3 mo adding to a grand total of $24.00 off for losing my sports package and the RSNs (the only reason I switched to Dish) and the rest of the channels...I will be pulling the plug on Dish as soon as the last episode of HBOs Empire airs. :mad:

Local Cable didn't offer FSS in HD...Dish did...now it's gone... Dish doesn't have the MLB channel...so I will get my Braves fix via MLB.com or elsewhere. Braves baseball is my deal breaker...I have to have it....I told Dish that when I switched....I had to listen to the last few regular season...

I'm mad enough to not care about the disconnect fee...I will be out around 100.00 after prorating whats left on my contract, but 1 month of not paying for the service will cover that....then I'm free and clear. I figure I can save close to $1500 a year by canceling...that will buy a lot of FTA...

Sounds like the conversation I just had...I dumped my cable co. because of bad connections, I even had to buy and install my own boosters to get the channels....so i went with Dish...now this...we are all screwed...time quit letting these companies hold us hostage....
