    star choice lnb is 10750?

Not sure what your elevation would be, but around a 98-100 skew would be appropriate for northern MB. I can't say for sure what you would need to put in for information for your satellite finder. You will end up aiming just slightly west of due south when tuned in.

Bell Express Vu North Fort Myers Florida

There is only 32 million people living in Canada, i seriously doubt you can say millions are snowbirds. The few customers Bell will lose from this transition is minor to the potential loss of customers in Canada to other providers, its as simple as that.

    Shaw Xku Triple LNBF FAQ

Has anyone pointed out that G1 channels will not be available that far south. Changing LNB's to the XKU for anyone in the united states is irrelevant. This is my understanding of it.

Bell To release new HD receiver to replace 6131 and phase out SD receiver 4100

Oh i wasn't referring to it being difficult to install or the co-axial for tuning. I install Bell, and i'm glad the 4100 has a co-axial output, because lots of customers have older tv's with only one composite input. This might make things a bit tricker, or require the use of an RF modulator.

Bell To release new HD receiver to replace 6131 and phase out SD receiver 4100

If this receiver is meant to replace the 4100, the lack of a co-axial output could be quite a hindrance when setting up for customers with older TV's.

    BEV HDMI issues

Is Bell HD really only 720p?

The Bell HD receivers default to 720p, you can increase this to 1080i in the receiver settings. I don't remember exactly where in the options, i just kinda do it by reflex when setting up a new receiver.

    Shaw Xku Triple LNBF FAQ

As a quick tip for people using an XKU for the first time, turn an existing active receiver to channel 700 (assuming it wasn't on a single look dish), and brand new receivers to channel 252. Only turn the receiver to 252 just prior to it being activated, as it prematurely dled's the wrong...

    Advice on new 6xx receivers

At the time you were in Canada the 600 was not released yet. You did well going with the 630 and 605, both are solid receivers. The 600 lacks some key features that the 605 and 630 have, such as UHF remote, a power button, and component cable hook ups.
