I must be missing something.... I'm number 802 but I can't log into the widgets site. I enter my email and password and get "your login attempt was not successful, please try again".
It works correctly ( I think) on my H20-100. As soon as I selected to hide the SD channels, they no longer showed when I setup my Favorites. This features does not hide existing SD channels in the guide.
Just talked to DirecTV. Are all the reps as STUPID as the one I just talked to???
I just learned the DirecTV does not offer Versus in HD, the game is on 608, and Channel 95 has baseball.
All things I needed support to learn.
(ok, I'm done venting).
OP said it was his home market.
So far I've been able to see all the PENS games in High Def on channel 95 or HDNET. No blackouts so far (in central PA).
Will this work with my TV - Hitachi 51F500A? My TV only has DVI and Component inputs. I'd love to have one but am not ready to replace a 2 year old TV for it.
The Bill Cower press conference has been blacked out for me lately too. FSN Pittsburgh is one of my local sports nets (I'm in Harrisburg). I don't understand why. I thought nothing was blacked out when it is local. I get all Pirate and Penguin games.... I even subscribe to the Sunday Ticket.
Great. This was the only thing keeping with DirecTV. The promise of the HMC. Within minutes of reading this thread I was typing www.dishnetwork.com. Wonder is Dish has anything like this. Let the research begin.........
Yes, you get all those channels, but when MLB, NHL, NBA, or NCAA games are on, they are blacked out. Only ones not blacked out are the ones in your local area. Only way to watch out of market games is to buy the package (Center Ice).
It doesn't matter if the actual game is sold out. If the RSN is not your RSN, the game will be blacked out. You have to get the Center Ice package to view it.
Wow. That's amazing. You can see me put up my receive only sat dish and know that I am getting a signal? Do you know what I am wearing too?
BTW - The reason folks get in trouble for signal theft is because they were brilliant enough to use a credit card or their real address when...
Thinking about this more, I remember I did the following:
- Hold menu and right arrow
- Choose commands, default settings
- Re-detect dish
- Go to local networks in the menu and enter zip
- In the list of cities displayed select the right one and push select
There is a thread at...
The local guide information is populated based on the zip code you entered. If it doesn't show the information, you have to remove the zip code and add it back. I had to do this twice when I first got my 360.
