I had this same issue yesterday, it took 40 minutes to download. This was after second node and hopper.

All I do when it happens is disconnect the hdmi from the tv and plug it back in. Fixes it for me.

U can use tversity with always transcode selected under settings. But u can't FF or RW with the hopper.

Do you have the new system? I am very happy with mine. Its pretty awesome. I also installed it so I have very little problems. Only hiccup was dlna, which was fixed using a HIC.

I agree with gary, have you have already tried adjusting the picture on the tv itself using the remote that came with the tv.

I think that it is the hopper that is not allowing the fast forwarding and rewinding. I can FF and Rew using the same media servers on my Bluray. i just end up using serviio and my bluray player to stream movies and use tversity and my hopper for my internet feeds, TWiT, Hulu, youtube. Works...

Anyone know what the mode selector switch on the back of the HIC does? Can select either 1 or 2.

At this time it is how its designed to work. Hopefully in future software updates it wont be necessary.
