Same here, regardless of where native is set it always comes up in 720p until I change a channel.

I have a HR23-700 and Sony TV. Every time I tun on the TV it reverts to 720p then when I change channels it goes to 1080i. I sent a report and my number is 20120526-22F4.

I am having the same problem where my HR23-700 is starting up in 720p then when I change channels it then switches to it's proper resolution of 1080i. My report number is 20120520-8FB.

I am having problems with The Weather Channel, freezes my DRV and causes it to reboot if I use the red interactive button for current weather conditions. HR23-700.

Well, found a work around where I can use the numeric keypad on my remote to change channels, put my remote in IR mode. For some reason I can't change channels when my remote is in RF mode. This used to work before the new software, must be a bug in the software that will hopefully be fixed in...

Well thought everything was working fine on my HR23-700 but just discovered that I can not change channels using the numeric pad on the remote unless it is a local channel. My display banner is set to 4 seconds and this did not fix the problem.

Everything is working fine on my HR23-700 software version 5b6.
