I just signed up for Direct via Costco. It took a bunch of tries, but I was finally able to get the referral and the extra $5 off to stick. Install scheduled March 5. Sorry Charlie, I would have stuck with you if you offered more than $10 credit.

arrrrrrrrgh! Woke up this morning to find my Absolute gone, replaced by AT200 with 12 shopping channels in glorious SD. I chatted with Haroon K. The best he could do for me was $10 off for 12 months plus 3 PPV certs. I downgraded to DA Silver and will now go sign up for D* through Costco.

Way too many people have claimed getting $15 off for a year or $20 for 6 months then $10 for 6 for it to be a lie. I'm thinking they must have very rigid rules based on your tenure. I was with Dish prior to Voom, then ever since. I've also only been offered $10, but haven't pushed them on it.

I got switched over (involuntarily) to AT200 @ 59.99. I don't see where the $10 credit shows up. Its very frustrating to see that Dish is now offering new customers AT200 for $39.99 for 12 months... I thought in January they were offering just $10 off for new customers

Amen. All I've been offered so far is the $10 discount, which for me, simply can't compete with the Choice Xtra offer through Costco in terms of cost and channel selection. I think I'll hold off until early February to see if they sweeten their offer any. Otherwise, I'll bail and go with D*.
