Got it on EBay. It showed a number when I first turned it on but mysteriously disappeared when a called Dish to activate. There wasn't supposed to be a card in it as they are built in but dish says it would nt recognize it.

I have to say, it was well worth the time to register for this forum. I got quick answers to my dumb questions. Now, if I can just figure out why my smart card says S00000000000. I have to order one from Dish at the tune of $50. Ouch. Thanks again Matt
