    Well, the Directv software update contains drivers for different media devices that work with the DVR. Like anything I would imagine that somebody had the wrong driver, or no driver for the last SW update. There will be another one sometime later, but until then you will be facing this issue.

    Same problem here. I called Directv before I saw this thread and they were stumped and sent out a Tech, who basically told me I would have to skip HDMI useage. I told him that wasn't acceptable and could he revert back my DVR back to a previous SW Load, he couldn't. I am having to deal with...
