I too have the bug where after watching a recording on other Hopper I get a blank screen. I need to change from say 112 to 111 and then back to 112 in order to see it. Never had this till 440.

Just under 275 watts for both but really only more interested in keeping the hopper running which is 45 watts according to everyone on line. The TV I can just turn back on. The hopper I have to wait up to 5 minutes and it will be during the most important part of the show.

Seems like what I used to hear on vol 24 now takes vol 26. In other words almost all channels need more vol to hear.

That's the first thing I checked. I don't know if I'd works on family room as with the hopper we don't use that TV in the winter so we don't heat room above 60 unless needed. edit=just rebooted it again for 3 rd time as I always reboot all systems after updates and now it works.

Is the hop feature worth POing off the networks? We already lost AMC over this feature that don't work that great anyhow. Most times I'm halfway to the end of the commercial by the time it kicks in. What else will we lose when other channels run by the networks come up for renewal?

Now we start losing networks too. If your smart stay away from dish. It's turning into a two bit company. I'm thinking of dropping them even though I'm only a 4 month subscriber and blocking them from my credit card.

Why is it you have to have the bridging enabled to see the second hopper but each time I get an upgrade mine says disabled? Yet I can still see and use both hoppers. But once I enable one I then have to enable the other one to get them to work. I believe it's a bug that shows both hoppers...

I've flung pushing the red button reboots my hopper faster than unplugging for the 10 sec. they recommend.

I too came from Comcast. Comcast is last decades electronics. Like comparing a VCR to our Hopper DVR.

I haven't noticed a problem before tonight. Tonight I backed up the news and hit the skip back button a bunch of times fast and ended up back in the program before the news. Let's say I hit it ten times which should have been 100 seconds but it backed up at least 10 min.
